And the majority of members here, at least those who profess to be Reformed would say, AMEN! We don't accept "phony ecumenicalism" either and often speak out against it. But Spurgeon never made the claim that the "Baptist Union" or the denomination he then belonged to at the time he made that statement was the ONLY TRUE CHURCH ON EARTH! And frankly, we do not and cannot accept the ridiculous claim that some make that their church/denomination is the ONLY true Church on the face of the earth.
