My point was that a person also say that casinos don't cause people to become addicted, it is the people that go there that do. Or drugs aren't inherently harmful, but the people that abuse them are. <br><br>I personally know many people who go to casinos once or twice a year, and do not become addicted. But the fact is that, pragmatically, the statistics show huge increases in crime, in child abandonment, etc. whenever casinos go up in an area. Not to mention the moral reasons against it.<br><br>Also, the same argument can be given for legalization of recreational drugs.<br><br>It seems that, other than the Libertarians, most people that are for guns are against drugs, and many are against casinos. And that was part of my point....why is that? Why do most people on this site, as I do, favor guns, when it is likely that most would be anti-drug and anti-casinos?<br><br>Steve<br><br>
