Yes, the CREC stands for the Confederation of Reformed Evangelical Churches; their website is at http://www.crechurches.org/ and this is the group with which Douglas Wilson is associated. I don't know about the CRE--don't know what those initials would stand for. There is indeed a church in Birmingham, Alabama that was a PCA church and has now withdrawn from the PCA and hopes to become part of the CREC. Once called Reformed Heritage Presbyterian, they are now known as Trinity Presbyterian. Their website is http://www.trinity-pres.net/Theo
