John_C said: Thanks Theo,
What is the driving force behind the CREC? Is it Theonomy with a big "T". Since they allow credos, I suppose it cannot be hyper-Sacramentalism (or whatever one would call it). I wish I knew the answer to that question; it may very well be the Auburn Avenue type of theology, but I honestly don't know. It is confusing to me because that theological viewpoint DOES seem to have a different perspective on the Sacraments--at least Baptism--from that held by the Greenville Presbyterian group, for example, or even the PCA churches exemplified by churches such as Briarwood. But as you say, the CREC welcomes credobaptists--at least that is my own understanding. I freely admit I don't have a clue. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/bananas.gif" alt="" /> Theo
