The "Article of the Month" this time around is one of nostalgia; looking back nearly 120 years when things were far different in many respects but much the same in others. What Dabney wrote about then just might be that which we are experiencing now in our day or something which may just come upon us in the very near future; the objection to Christian principles and proposed legislation to enforce that objection.

It will be granted that Dabney's style of writing isn't the easiest to read. However, if you can stick with it and read through what he has written to the end, you will be richly rewarded for your efforts. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />
