Sometimes it is good to return to the "old paths", those simple truths which unfortunately are often forgotten. This month's Article of the Month is one of those fundamental truths that is music to the ear of the believer and most necessary that unbeliever's also hear.

The late Rev. Charles Krahe delivered this message in January of the year 1984. He was pastor of Seventh Reformed Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan for many years and a beloved brother in Christ. His message brings forth three points in his exposition of Matthew 3:13-17:

1. The Author of salvation’s plan: God the Father Almighty, the Maker of heaven and earth
2. The Actualization of God’s Plan in and through His Son
3. The Application of it, ah, that is the Spirit’s work
