“Descended into Hell” Apostles Creed I found a link that I thought some might want to have a look at. According to the person (Sandy Grant) writing on the Apostles Creed statement “Descended into hell”, the original intent for the English word “hell” in this case is “the grave” rather than the other meaning which is the place of punishment for the unsaved.
