Hi Tom,
Every Lord's Day, I post in the Devotions, the questions and answers from the Heidelberg Catechism, along with an exposition of them by Zacharias Ursinus. If you would look at the Lord's Day 16 Question and Answer 44, and its Exposition, you should find sufficient information for your answer. There is a lot of valuable information included in those devotions so I would encourage people to make use of them. thank you for posting these. I was looking for those commentaries. The commentary on q. 21 was such a blessing to me!
