I do not "know" this man but I have heard his name mentioned by a few people in glowing terms. However, those extolling Jeremiah were, without question, unregenerate, so their accolades were hardly credible. From my own research, it appears that theologically, he is semi-Pelagian at best and definitely holds to some form of Dispensationalism. He further ranks among leading neo-evangelicals (ecumenical leanings and ecclectic/syncretistic). The fact that he is the pastor of a reknown "mega church" in southern California is enough to make one want to investigate this person further. giggle

Bible Discernment Ministries (mention of this group is not a full endorsement of what they believe nor the verity of their reports!) did a report on David P. Jeremiah back in the late '90s and they had some grave concerns back then. Over the 14 years which have passed since their report, it doesn't appear that Jeremiah has deviated from his 'downward' trend which was criticized in the report. You can read their report HERE.
