A friend is trying to make a point that we cannot resist God's Grace in regeneration, but after conversion (sanctification), we can resist His grace.

I see it in terms of disobeying God and His Lordship, instead of resisting Grace, but it that just semantics.

How to put this in its rightly terminology as it seems to me that resisting grace is not properly used in describing disobedience during our sanctification?
