I might have asked this in the past and it may belong more in the open forum, but it is a theological question for me.
What are your thoughts on Faith Promise as a way for a church to do missions? It may be a neutral method, but I think it sends some undertones in sidetracking the Presbyterian ecclesiology.
While on a similar subject matter, are churches obligated by giving a tithe to benevolences? And if so, should the Faith Promise be included or excluded in calculating the tithe?

John, I had to Google "Faith Promise" to find out something about this thing since until you brought the subject up I hadn't heard of it before. I'm going to stick my neck out here and guess that I'm probably not the only one who hasn't heard of "Faith Promise" before, although some might be familiar with it.  What I found with a quick search was this: Faith Promise FAQ. If you have some better information on Faith Promise, could you please provide it so that others, including myself, could review it? THANKS!
