I've been seeing articles regarding the 'transformation of culture' and 'Two Kingdoms' That must be one of the new hot button items within the Reformed. Will someone give a short, concise definition of the two. And, I assume the classical Reformed view is somewhere in the middle of the two, with a possible slight lean to the 'transformational' side?

This is fun having this forum back.

John,

The "Two Kingdom" theology has raised much controversy in Reformed circles, especially in the OPC. The Northwest Presbytery has submitted an overture to have the General Assembly study the issue and render a verdict against it. Rather than trying to explain it all here, I'll give you a link where you can read a well-written critique of this view that explains it in some detail. And another short critique as well.

Jeff,

Thanks. There is a lot to digest, especially the first linked article.

Is there a connection to Kuyper's "sphere theology" with Two Kingdom theology?

What are the basic tenets in "transformation of culture" theology?
