The spread of Calvinism was unusual. In contrast to Catholicism, which had been maintained by civil and military force, and Lutheranism, which survived in becoming a religion of politics, Calvinism had, for the most part, only its consistent logic and its fidelity to the Scriptures. Within a generation it spread across Europe. — Charles Miller Is Calvinism, the Reformed Faith something that did not come into existence until the 16th century? Or, does its roots precede the great Protestant Reformation? Too often, when this question is asked an answer cannot be given because the history of biblical Calvinism is unknown. In this article, Joel Beeke provides a brief history of the origins of Calvinism which should be of much value to many. You can read this article here: The Origins of Calvinism. ![[Linked Image]](http://the-highway.com/Smileys/enjoy-sm.png) In His service and grace,
