"The Arminian Controversy" is, in my opinion, perhaps the best synopsis of the history, development, statement and refutation of Arminianism written to date. Without question, there have been others who have produced excellent writings on this theological system as well. But for me, this one stands out for its accuracy, depth and fairness.

It is my hope that the length; 130 pages in book form, will not deter your interest or resolve to read this through. Those who do take the time to work their way through this article will reap great rewards, not only in the area of knowledge but in an increase in a love for God due to the infinite and eternal love and grace extended and applied in the Lord Christ to those predestined to receive pardon of sin and eternal life. This is where all true biblical doctrine should terminate for those who study God's inspired and infallible Word, to be brought closer to God Himself.

Lastly, just a minor note that Cunningham occasionally includes a few quotes which are in Latin. But I think you will find that having to skip over them, for those who cannot read Latin, does not hinder the thought being conveyed by the author. grin
