Much to the dismay of some, I'm going to blurt out my "nitpickiness".  1. Scripture: I was left with the impression that what Jesus said was more weighty and had more authority than what Moses, Paul or any other biblical writer. For example, are Paul's words any less inspired and binding than those words spoken by Christ? In fact, do the recorded teachings of Jesus supersede those words in the OT which are prefaced by "Thus saith the LORD"? 2 Timothy 3:16 (KJV) "All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" 2. God's holiness: There is no mention of the inexorable holiness of God and His infinite hatred of sin and all those who practice it. 3. Judgment and Hell: Although hell was mentioned, it was glossed over and deemed irrelevant and/or ineffective for the purpose of confronting homosexuality. God's wrath is upon all men who are under thus under His judgment due to sin. The end of all who are not reconciled to God through Christ is Hell. In fact, Jesus taught far more about hell than any other biblical writer; see HERE. Eternal damnation and everlasting punishment is certainly a valid inducement for a sinner to repent of sin and seek justification in Jesus Christ, the only savior of sinners. It is certainly a necessary truth which must be pressed upon the minds and hearts of those who are on the road to destruction. 4: Methodology: The focus of the author which I discerned was "reward", i.e., IF you give up your homosexuality, God will bless you 100 fold. In the vernacular, this is akin to dangling a carrot in someone's face in order to lead them where you want them to go. But the truth is, all sin is to be repented of because it is so commanded of God: Acts 8:21-22 (ASV) "Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right before God. Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray the Lord, if perhaps the thought of thy heart shall be forgiven thee."
Acts 17:30-31 (ASV) "The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked; but now he commandeth men that they should all everywhere repent: inasmuch as he hath appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead." The greatest blessing anyone can possibly receive in this world or the next is to be found in God's favor, to have their sins forgiven, to be adopted into the kingdom of God and live eternally in perfect holiness. It isn't a matter of "giving up" something to gain more of something else!! It is a matter of having a total change of mind and heart, i.e., to turn away from sin (repentance) and embracing the person of the LORD Jesus Christ and loving all righteousness. This is ONLY possible if God should do a sovereign work in a sinner by creating within him a new heart; a heart of flesh and taking away their heart of stone. Isaiah 45:21-25 (ASV) "Declare ye, and bring [it] forth; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath showed this from ancient time? who hath declared it of old? have not I, Jehovah? and there is no God else besides me, a just God and a Saviour; there is none besides me. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is none else. By myself have I sworn, the word is gone forth from my mouth [in] righteousness, and shall not return, that unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. Only in Jehovah, it is said of me, is righteousness and strength; even to him shall men come; and all they that were incensed against him shall be put to shame. In Jehovah shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall glory." 5. The Promise of Deliverance: Another essential truth which is missing from the author is God's promise of deliverance from sin, not excluding homosexuality.

Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with men, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye were washed, but ye were sanctified, but ye were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God."
1 Corinthians 10:13 (ASV) "There hath no temptation taken you but such as man can bear: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation make also the way of escape, that ye may be able to endure it."
Philippians 2:12-13 (ASV) "So then, my beloved, even as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who worketh in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure."
Hebrews 4:14-16 (ASV) "Having then a great high priest, who hath passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we have not a high priest that cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but one that hath been in all points tempted like as [we are, yet] without sin. Let us therefore draw near with boldness unto the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace to help [us] in time of need."
Hebrews 12:1-3 (ASV) "Therefore let us also, seeing we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of [our] faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. For consider him that hath endured such gainsaying of sinners against himself, that ye wax not weary, fainting in your souls..."
Romans 8:31-39 (ASV) "What then shall we say to these things? If God [is] for us, who [is] against us? He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not also with him freely give us all things? Who shall lay anything to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth; who is he that condemneth? It is Christ Jesus that died, yea rather, that was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Even as it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
