What is required of the Christian in forgiveness? We often hear reports of how some people are lauded for forgiving those who have caused some great offense, when those people never showed signs of remorse and without repentance. Case in point, the relatives of victims who made a statement of forgiveness at the hearing of the man who murdered 9 people in a Methodist Church in Charleston, South Carolina. This man felt justified in his taking of these lives. Is this true forgiveness?
