I should not be surprised at this, for I understand the depth of man's sin. However when it comes to mistranslating Scripture to justify obvious sinful behaviour, I get mad.

1. Can you say "hermeneutical gymnastics", fast 3 times?

2. Notice he did not consult the long-recognized standard lexicons for Hebrew and Greek.

3. Isn't it convenient that he uses liberal (aka: apostate) religious leaders; Jewish and Protestant to try and make his case.

This is nothing new, Tom. I have read and personally heard such arguments myriad times and regardless of how many times they are repeated, they are still unbiblical, illogical and self-serving. igiveup

I am not sure how to go through the article without fuming as well, its one of the worst displays I have seen in recent memory regarding this topic, and the clear denial of the biblical truths regarding this particular sin,.. we live in a very serious time where the church is not vocal enough to combat these errors given by these so called believers to excuse their sin and to make evil fair seeming and acceptable,.. very sad indeed Tom.

When entire denominations now excuse it, and even allow for ministers active in it to now be ordained...

It's clear, that with each article link that makes for the excuse of the sin, and the biblical account as given in sacred scripture will continue to be done as man seeks to ''suppress the truth'' in their unrighteousness,... and as more and more churches remove themselves from the sufficiency of scripture, we will have more liberals who say that they believe in God and see nowhere in the Word where this sin is not addressed,.. We have to continue to proclaim the gospel message and stand on His inerrant word despite what we may see and are being confronted with against biblical Christianity ... I found this link to be a very helpful source, with the biblical proofs with word for word explanations,.. http://thirdmill.org/newfiles/pat_ramsey/pt.pat_ramsey.homosexuality.html

To continue with a short commentary from Romans 1:26, the Puritan Matthew Henry states

In the horrid depravity of the heathen, the truth of our Lord's words was shown: "Light was come into the world, but men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil; for he that doeth evil hateth the light." The truth was not to their taste. And we all know how soon a man will contrive, against the strongest evidence, to reason himself out of the belief of what he dislikes.
But a man cannot be brought to greater slavery than to be given up to his own lusts. As the Gentiles did not like to keep God in their knowledge, they committed crimes wholly against reason and their own welfare.
The nature of man, whether pagan or Christian, is still the same; and the charges of the apostle apply more or less to the state and character of men at all times, till they are brought to full submission to the faith of Christ, and renewed by Divine power. There never yet was a man, who had not reason to lament his strong corruptions, and his secret dislike to the will of God. Therefore this chapter is a call to self-examination, the end of which should be, a deep conviction of sin, and of the necessity of deliverance from a state of condemnation.

One sure sign of real darkness is when they put togetehr the "Queen james" Bible version, to try to modify scriptures to support it!

The KJV is a really good Bible; the problem isn't the KJV it is that they use it as though it is directly from God itself and other versions aren't.

I agree with you, its just shows how darkened they were to have them redo it and make their "Queen James" Bible!
