I just watched a video by Voddie Baucham, that if I actually understood what he said, is not only very interesting, but also something that most people should hear. Especially, coming from who this message comes from. Up until now, unfortunately among the Christian African American and Christian First Nations peoples, what he says is the opposite of what I have being hearing. The message is about 38 minutes long.
You posted this before, I think? Mr. Buacham's presentation was quite good on this subject. Where he stands on other issues is what I would like to know, however. I say John Piper's "Desiring God" and the Gospel Coalition mentioned in conjunction with him somewhere and that sent a red flag up the pole.
I may have posted something similar; but I do not think I posted that particular one. I just watched that video for the first time. Voddie may have had ties to the Gospel Coalition in the past. However, what I am finding about him, is he would find himself, at odds with much of what is happening in the Gospel Coalition now. The Social Justice issue, being just one. You may know about the Gospel Coalition African American member that made some very serious accusations about Phil Johnson, who is a member of Grace to You (John MacArtur’s ministry), saying among other things Phil does not understand the Gospel. This was in relation to Phil’s stand against the Social Justice Movement. James White came to his defence, which you can read/hear about at James White’s site.
