Is it wrong to pray for God to heal when one is sick and/or
in pain and expect Him to hear and answer that prayer if it is prayed in faith?
Not that God is obligated to heal, but does it show lack of faith to believe that He won't? Did God stop healing people at the end of the Apostolic age when the last Apostle died? Just curious to know what do most in the Reformed faith think. I do not subscribe to the name it, and claim it, word faith idea that one can command God to do anything, but I do know that God is all powerful, merciful, loving, and caring and can do more than we can ever ask or think.

It's not wrong to pray that God will heal someone. It's the right thing to do. God can and does provide healing in many different ways today as He has always done throughout history. However to say that it will happen based soley upon the amount of faith we have is a false teaching.

Just like the teaching about man's free will which suppossedly validates God's offer of salvation to all the emphasis is on man not God. You see this clearly when you ignor man's total depravity and say that man's faith or man's free will is the deciding factor.
