Actually, I was just thinking of that quote this very morning in light of a particular sin that so easily entangles me. We are going through Jerry Bridges' book Respectable Sins in Sunday School, which is really convicting!! True godliness is a sincere feeling which loves God as Father as much as it fears and reverences Him as Lord, embraces His righteousness, and dreads offending Him worse than death~ Calvin
