Here is something that is happening right now as I text. Justin Trudeau has put a Bill out called Bill C-10, that if past will allow huge censorship in all social media, like this one. In other words we will not even be allowed to post what I am posting right now. Everything will be filtered through the government and I am hearing huge fines might occur for anyone who violates these rules. https://www.facebook.com/michellerempelgarner/videos/466354558008596/If this is passed, something tells me the USA will probably try to pass a similar Bill. Sorry, I don't do Facebook. Is there another source where one can read this bill?

Pilgrim, I am sure there are links to Bill C-10; but I do not know of any to that particular link. What I found interesting, is many at work that are not even Christians are up in arms about this particular Bill.
I talked to someone today, that is far from being a Christian, in fact he has a bit of a foul mouth. This was the first time I have heard him defend Christianity and free-speech. Apparently, he is well aware of what happened to TWU (Trinity Western University) a few years back. He thinks it is disgusting what happened to them and by extension other Christian Educational Institutions. Another guy I know at work is also very concerned and believes if Conservatives do not do something quick, their rights will be gone for good.
Nobody I talked to has any idea what to do however. I was actually quite surprised how united people are on this matter. Kind of makes me wonder just how many Canadians feel the same way about what is happening; or is it a phenomena of a my region (Okanagan) that usually votes Conservative?

1. Will the bill pass Parliament? 2. Indeed, what can the average Canadian citizen do to prevent, counter or remove this type of tyranny of the state?
Remember, the overwhelming number of people voted for these politicians. So, although these politicians should be ashamed of themselves, the people are the real problem. And, of course, once again this is what can happen when you don't have a founding document which restricts government and specifically spells out the rights of the people. The U.S. is at a crucial juncture right now since the Socialists/Communists have two of the three branches of government; Executive (President) and Legislative (Congress & Senate). And, if the refusal of Scotus (Supreme Court) to hear arguments and allow evidence to be presented in regard to the corruption and anti-Constitutional practices of the last presidential election is indicative of the court, then one could rightly conclude that it too is controlled by the Left. What does this mean? Without doubt, they have and are planning to re-interpret, ignore and/or throw out the Constitution to further their agenda. Thus far, the First Amendment (free speech, etc.) has mainly been violated by big tech who controls the social media platforms and some corporations, e.g., Nike, Coco Cola, Bank of America and others and of course, the non-Press which only reports "new" that furthers the Lefts agenda or fabricates its own "news" to destroy those who are conservative. They are all walking on egg shells, even though they probably haven't a clue that they are and that all they need to do is make the wrong move or push the wrong "button" and there will be a massive revolt.
Tyranny isn't restricted to Canada. It has been in existence since the Fall and the wickedness of men with the help of the Devil have ruled the earth. All this will of course come to a sudden and decisive end when Christ returns and all will get their just due at the bar of the Supreme Judge. And, all the misery, suffering and death will end as will even the remembrance of such things. Fix your eyes on Jesus and let your heart yearn for the New Heavens and the New Earth where righteousness dwells. In the meantime, fight the good fight and let not your heart be weary.

Thanks, lots to think about.
Many people in Canada and the USA have no idea Canada actually has a “Founding Document”. (Though it must be admitted it did not get official approval until 1982.)
It actually reads much like the US Constitution. The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, is part of the Canadian Constitution.
Like the 1st Amendment of the US Constitution, the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, was written for both freedom of speech and freedom of religion. Unfortunately, this has largely been ignored in the courts when these rights have been violated. Much like the Democrats who try to interpret the US Constitution as a living document; our government and courts interpret our constitution much the same way. Or introduce bills like Bill C-10 to get by our rights.
There are however, movements such as ‘Canada Proud’ and ‘Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms’ that are working to try to stop this kind of thing from happening. I am actually thinking of contacting the later, to see what they recommend an average concerned citizen can do.
There is only one party in Canada, who has made this part of their platform. It is called ‘The People’s Party of Canada’ and they are lead by Maxine Bernier. He recently had a rally in Ontario, Canada and was fined for violating so called “health guidelines”.
Surely Canada is going more and more towards soft totalitarianism, and ‘Cultural Marxism’.
