I looked at a site I found about ‘Christian Nationalism’ and was wondering if it is accurate about what Christian Nationalism is.
It even has a series of questions it asks.

I would break our concerns related to Christian Nationalism (and it’s impact for the civil/cultural/political/social spheres) into 4 categories:

1. America as God’s country (the article you linked which is pretty good). ( Premillennial ) Dispensationalism - this is what I think of when I hear Christian Nationalism.

2. Moral/natural law as per 3rd use of the law in either a positive or restraining sense (as noted by Luther or Calvin). This would have a two-fold purpose of being a positive command to the saved citizens living out their faith and restraining the unsaved via threat of punishment. This may also be labeled Christian nationalism by the skeptic who seeks to circumvent and change even the laws bound by the 2nd command/table (love others) for their own benefit and seared conscience.

3. Liberty as in freedom of religion for all in which all religions are equally valued and worthy and the myth of neutrality is perpetuated. These folks are super leery of Christian nationalism or Christian-based natural law maintaining prominence or special recognition. Christians understand that this view is more of a Benedict Option where they will be encouraged to remain silent in the public square despite knowing the inadequacy of other religions and those souls that will ultimately perish without knowing the One True God. Also, civil laws/values/standards begin to become inconsistent and even arbitrary.

4. Pagan Nationalism- Religion is secondary and Christianity in particular is driven underground. The state rules and pagan religion is fully realized as default dogma. This is essentially what the elites favor. Nobody is free.
