Ben,
My husband, son and I visited your church last summer for the Wednesday night Bible study and we liked it. The singing was very good and the Bible Study given by a student was also very good. An elderly man at the door was so kind and introduced us to Dr. Steve Wellum. We could only speak to Dr. Wellum briefly since he had to teach a class. Your pastor also introduced himself to us. The man and his wife even drove up to us in the parking lot afterwards and said they would be praying for our trip home! But our son hasn't gone back there to church.

Ben,

I am friends with several people who go to Clifton. You probably know Royce and Sharon Hunt, as well as Lisa Scholl.

True godliness is a sincere feeling which loves God as Father as much as it fears and reverences Him as Lord, embraces His righteousness, and dreads offending Him worse than death~ Calvin

Wow, yes, I know them all. I'm really good friends with Lisa, and I see Royce and Sharon all the time. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/ClapHands.gif" alt="" />

Clifton's great. I visited a couple times last year. I'm now at Hillsdale Baptist Church in the southwest part of Louisville. (4714 E. Pages Ln.) The congregation is living proof that Calvinists can be warm, friendly, fun-loving, and evangelistic. (They also know how to feed a guy, which places them well within the SBC tradition.)
