I got it by email too. And my address is hidden, so something smells like a hacker...
Henry,
NOOoooooooooo! Nothing has been hacked!! <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/rolleyes2.gif" alt="" /> I have already explained that here:
My reply to Ehud. When a person clicks on the link in your Profile, "Email this user", it is an inhouse form and there is no e-mail address displayed. Nor is there anyway that the e-mail address can be retrieved. The
ONLY way someone can get your e-mail address is if you reply to the e-mail received. It's the same truth that applies to

. Many people make the painful mistake of replying to spam e-mail, e.g., clicking on a link to have their e-mail address taken off their lists. This is nothing more than a deception for by replying to the e-mail or clicking on that link, you are revealing to the spammer that there really is someone associated to that random e-mail address and thus you have verified your presence. Then they have you!
My own personal policy and I commend it to everyone on this Board, is that if you don't know the person who sends you e-mail, don't reply. If the person claims to be a member here, check the User List, PM me and ask about this person, etc. Unsolicited invitations are just that.... and should be treated as such, IMHO.
