why is homosexuality so much greater and filthier a sin than lying or cheating or not keeping my body in good health or failing to show kindness to someone?
First, let me preface by saying that I do not believe that lying, stealing, adultery, not showing kindness, etc. are lesser sins. I believe all sins are equally worthy of God's wrath and damnation. However, I do view homosexuality in a different way then I do say not keeping my body in good health. Why is that?
I think it's the language the Bible uses pertaining to this sin (Romans 1). It's not pretty. Plus this sin is glorified and promoted in society and in our face with men overtly acting like women and visa versa, the gay parades, the agenda to promote homosexual marriage, it's promotion in public schools, etc., etc.
However, when I see someone that is overweight or someone who smokes, etc., it doesn't impact me in the same way.
Does my world view need an adjustment?
Anyone have any thoughts or comments on this?
