I'm biting off more than I can chew. I thought by getting Horton's new book on Covenant Theology that it would be an easy read and increase my knowledge on the subject. But before reading it, I'm finding out that it is somewhat controversial to my dismay.
Some argue that Horton accepts Kline's view on the unconditional Royal Land Grant position in some of the covenants. To get a better idea, that view is charted out on pp 19 for The NIV Study Bible. The contrary view which is I think more align with O Palmer Robertson is charted out on pp 25 of the Spirit of the Reformation Study Bible.
This is confusing me. Need help in sorting everything. help.
Oh, Joe gave a link on the thread in the Book Review forum. His link didn't stir up anything. His link set my curiosity wondering, and I went to other sources.
