What's the difference between extemporaneous and impromtu?

And, what do you mean by including his educational vita curriculum?

My current Pastor preaches expository sermons but his is a passage at a time. By passage I mean a paragraph or two at a time. (whenever the verse number is darkened) And his
execution style is primarily scripted.

My former Pastor preached expository sermons but his was more like a verse (or a couple) at a time. He may not get as far into the sermon as he thought, so he just pick up where he left off the next week. It took him over two years to get through Exodus. His execution style is either extemporaneous or impromptu (are both) whatever is meant by the two. He studied what the verses meant and the context, but his applications were more extemporaneous and he had a few favorite applications that were impromptu. (if I can separate the two.)

Regarding Kyle (CovenantinBlood) post, I think you have misread him.
