I remain confused by the people that support abortion and stem-cell research. On one hand they support abortion because they state the fetus is not human. However, on the other hand, they state stem-cell research will help humanity by providing information and actual human cells for the curing of disease. Is it just me or does this appear to be a contradiction? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/shrug.gif" alt="" />

It's not just you, and it doesn't just appear to be a contradiction. It is one! In Africa they used to call this cannibalism. In America today it's legal to kill your children and scientists have found many uses for these non-human parts which will extend the life of someone else. Besides, I've been told that there is actually plenty of resource for stem cells without resorting to taking it from the unborn.

It truly rips at your heart to be a citizen of an ungodly nation like America has become. We're supposed to have freedom under the law. But there is no law that protects the unborn! The womb of the mother may be the most dangerous place on earth.
