Whether or not they espouse those teachings and others like Theonomy I cannot say, but they would be friendly to those who do, at least.
Yes, they would be and most likely are friendly to those who do espouse the heretical teachings of "FV". That alone would cause me to avoid that church.

All I'm saying is looking conservative (biblical-speaking) may not always be conservative. And, there are those who may be contemporary looking but solid conservative in their teaching.
I can agree with the first part but I have to disagree with the second. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> If it walks like a duck . . . then it's a duck. A church cannot be "conservative" in its teaching and practice contemporary worship for of necessity one has to hold to a low view of God and Scripture in order to allow for worship that is contemporary; i.e., as we currently know it. Now, you may disagree, but dats der vay I sees it. God is not pleased with anything less than that which glorifies Him as to His nature and attributes according to the truth as it is found in Scripture. Singing mindless mantras (aka: praise choruses) displayed on an 8' giant screen with an electric band on stage is hardly reflective of God's majesty and inexorable holiness. (cf. Ps. 2:11; 89:6, 7; Hab 2:20; Zach 2:13; Heb 12:28, 29; Rev. 15:4)

In His grace,
