The original intent of having the separate forums within the Computer category was to do just that... keep specific needs or subjects separate and thus make it easier to find topics. I'm not convinced intermixing software update notifications with Tech Support issues is the best way to go.

My question in the poll was simply in regard to that forum's usefulness. If the majority of members simply aren't finding the information provided in that particular forum useful and/or of interest, then there is no sense in having it. Maintaining that forum does take some time and effort on my part, although it is of no burden to me to do so.
