Sen. Obama didn't "attack" Joe "the Plumber" Wurzelbacher. Mr. Wurzelbacher approached Sen. Obama while the senator was on the campaign trail & asked him about his tax plan & what effect that would have on small business owners, as Mr. Wurzelbacher aspires to buy the plumbing business he works for. In the course of answering Mr. Wurzelbacher, Sen. Obama suggested that his tax plan would help out the people "behind" Mr. Wurzelbacher's success, and said that he feels it's a good thing to "spread the wealth around." Sen. McCain's campain shrewdly seized upon these statements as evidence of Sen. Obama's socialist leanings.
