I'm not sure a denial of the final perseverance of the saints IS entirely the province of charismatic/pentecostals! That's interesting, considering I was raised in pentecostal churches all my life and they all preach the same thing about salvation. Other churches outside the charismatic/pentecostal circle may subscribe to the same theology (though I'm not familiar with them), but I've never known a pentecostal church to teach (if they teach at all) this issue any differently.
