First of all I want to say thank you for this posting. It takes a measure of courage to lay your mind before others especially in matters of this nature. As you have seen here, you are not alone and it is an awesome reminder to myself as well. I have found in my own mind/heart or whatever it is, that clinging dearly to what the Scripture says has been key to defeating some of those thoughts, while others have and continue to plague my mind; sometimes more intensely than others.

In those intense times I continually plead with the Father to deliver me from such thoughts by renewing my mind with His word. I plead with Christ to firmly root & establish my heart - my soul in Himself by the Holy Spirit, through the Word. It is ONLY by faith that I believe that it will be so. While now, even as most recently as tonight and most of the day today I don't see the answers to those prayers, I still place my hope in Him, and not my head.
