That said however I think Trump needs to use language that is very clear what he meant by saying both sides are at fault in this matter.
A friend recently posted an old video on Facebook of Ronald Reagon speaking out against similar things. I think Trump could learn a few thing from him.
If you are interested perhaps I can try to find this video.

Hi Tom, President Trump does not speak in political speech, refined by speech writers, never has and probably never will. Then, President Reagan was a superb communicator and not many could match him on that. But, maybe you can explain what it was exactly that was lacking in his first statement? I assume most people, as myself, understood what he meant by "both sides"; the KKK & neo-Nazi extremists on the one side and BLM and antifa on the other. No doubt there were other crazy fringe groups also that many of us have never heard of that were there. The President in his first statement did not name one side and leave off the other side. When there was the outcry that he did not name names, he then named them on both sides. By the way, I looked online at images of your city of Kelowna and you live in a very beautiful area! I took an Alaskan Cruise out of Vancouver a number of years ago, but that is my only time in BC.
