Recently, I discovered that the Catholics and Protestants list different 10 Commandments. Also, I think the Jews have a different list as well. It might not be such a big deal in that they are combined, not added or subtracted (I think they combine 1 and 2 as one; and they split 10 into two commandments). I'm not sure about the Jews. What I would be interesting in finding out was when the particular groups of 10 were established. Did the Protestant Reformation changed the list, or did the Catholics came about during Trent? Did even Christians have an established list of 10 Commandments during the first centuries of Christianity?
