As for Lee Irons' article, it is his opinion based on the limited research he did on late 19th Century to late 20th Century Biblical and Historical theologians. I call your attention to Lee Irons' remarks and Gaffin's response at the end of the article. If anything, the article supports what I and others have said before me. If you want to educate yourself further, I recommend the work of scholars like Dr. Richard A. Muller whose four volume work, "Post-Reformation Reformed Dogmatics -The Rise and Development of Reformed Orthodoxy, ca. 1520 to ca. 1725" will give you a much more balanced and nuanced understanding than Irons' little article. Perhaps being overly sensitive over how people deal with constructive differences of oppinion is a fault of mine. But it is still better than embracing ignorance in pride and haughtiness.

You are not being singled out by anyone here, but you have singled yourself out. From your very first post you put forth a non-Christian attitude of bragging about your thesis, displaying an arrogant attitude, and violating Forum Guidelines by "duplicating messages," (which the moderators/administrators were gracious not even to mention; i.e. Robbins and Newbie Intro). You are new here—learn some respect for your elders instead of having a contentious spirit (Prov 26:21; 1 Tim 3:3; Tit 3:2). In 8 posts you have moved from newbie to nothing and the only one willing to communicate peaceably with your poor attitude has been the Head Honcho. You should be grateful, but yet you condemn.
It appears the only board you may be satisfied with is one where you are the only member. Hopefully God will give you a change of heart (2 Tim 2:24-26).

It has nothing to do with the fact of disagreement, but rather everything to do with the manner. You come to this board as a new member, and immediately you are on the offensive against someone who has much more standing here than you do. Your response to me now is unwarranted and extreme. You have started off with the wrong attitude and you will be banned because you have continued with it. Good bye.
