I am part of a church that is growing quite rapidly, if you would like a more detailed story, look in the prayer tabs... I left a prayer request there with a more in depth story.
Anyway, after the last few days my wife and I have both decided that we probably won't be staying with them a whole lot longer because of our different views in youth groups and their purpose.
We are looking for a church in or near Phoenix or Avondale Arizona. Preferably one that is looking for a youth pastor.(I am in school and training for youth ministries)

Well most of the good churches I know don't really have "youth pastors" but have elders...I am pretty certain they have youth though, and you could learn about the ministry first by being a member there. Have you checked out First Baptist Tolleson? It is the church where Dr. James White's father has pastored- but due to his health I don't know what the current status is. http://fsbaptisttolleson.org/The church that Dr. White is an elder at is http://www.prbc.org, and it is in downtown Phoenix, which may be a bit of a long haul but worth it. Don Fry is the pastor.

Clint,
You know that you can go to most denominations webpage (PCA, OPC) and find a church directory or locator. Just google Presbyterian Church in America, Orthodox Presbyterian Church. There are other conservative Reformed denominations as well.

Not yet.. I have been so profoundly busy with school and work that it is almost a nice thing to not worry about a church.. however that is a short lived trance of life.. My school is going to force me to move churches.. Not because the church I am a part of does not preach truth or anything, but because I am required to be a part of some things that are just not available at my current church.. So hopefully I will have some more news soon.

The school I am at.. part of my "degree plan" which is biblical interp (major) and youth ministry (minor) I am required to graduate be a part of a youth ministry that has regular weekly things.. Whether it be events, or bible studies, or even just a sunday school.. But I can not merely be a part of that church, I also have to find a way to be active in that ministry via teaching, sponsership, just an extra hand, ect. My current church does not have a youth ministry that I can be part of, and after trying to talk the pastor into letting me start one, I feel that he wont allow it.
