Paul,

Wow--thanks for all that hard work!! I had thought about trying to do just that--but had not quite figured out the logistics. I appreciate the graph a lot as it does show the distribution of our scores pretty clearly.

Theo

Paul,

How did RefDoc end up on the left of me and Wes? I got a .25 on economics, and Wes got a big fat 0. But RefDoc got a 2.5! And Tom got a 2.21 and is in line with us.

Hi Theo:

I'm sure I would have scored in the upper right a few years ago but now it is a bit different.

Having worked a career in the private sector doing Occupation/Environmental Health work for a large multinational corporation, in addition to two significant stints of the same kind of work in small and medium business, and also studying the scriptures with respect to the God of Mammon, and the widows and the orphans as well as the poor, the blind, the lame (and spending some time here) has given me different perspective.

I scored -3.38 on the economic scale and 0.56 on the authoritarian.

It would be interesting to see an analysis of each question and answer in the context of scripture, would it not?

Thanks for the test,

In Him,

Gerry

I took it again and got:

Economic Left/Right: 1.25
Libertarian/Authoritarian: 1.49

Some of those questions, though, I wonder what they have to do with political tendencies? "When you are troubled, it's better not to think about it, but to keep busy with more cheerful things"? "Abstract art that doesn't represent anything shouldn't be considered art at all"? "Astrology accurately explains many things"? Strange, interesting little quiz, none the less.

Please pick any of the following:

a) dyslexia
b) dementia
c) deprivation of sleep

My deepest apologies, sir, for making you appear less authoritative than you actually are! Meseems to have flipped the axes for the four of you! The error has been righted (?) in the current attachment, which also shows acts2027's score.

I'm glad somebody was actually looking at the numbers!

Something skewed about this when I take the world's smallest political quiz I come out right conservative but using this chart I'm just not right enough. Economic Left/Right: 6.50 Libertarian/Authoritarian: 3.95!
When I took that one, I wound up on the LINE between "centrist" and "right conservative" on the graph--though it called me a "centrist". As both these quizzes show, it depends quite a bit on what questions are asked and how those questions are worded.

Theo
