As a reasonable response, I am going to defer at this time to the comments of C.F. Keil, which are found in his Commentary on the Old Testament, "Jeremiah - Lamentations". I've attached it as a MS Word (.doc) document. Again, if anyone can't open/read this attachment but would like to read it, I also have it available in ".pdf" (Acrobat Reader) format.
