If you re-read my post I gave the caveat "not saying this is true". I posted this because it makes sense to find out what people really believe instead of going off of hearsay, don't you think?
By no means do I believe in indulgences, or anything else in the Baltimore Confession section on indulgences.
Even those who DO believe in the efficacy of indulgences believe abuses are taking place with indulgences today. But it is NOT anything to the extent it was in early times, when indulgences were bought as a license to sin. if you think Protestants are bothered by this, talk to a Catholic Priest sometime...they will inform you of the shame of the Church during that time.

Grace is not common.
