Also, I do believe that the Scriptures provide all that we need regarding personal matters but when we're speaking about specifics (ex. should I take this job, move to this city etc.) how do we determine when we are being led by the Spirit. It just seems that in reading the responses in this thread we are to avoid such "impressions" or "leadings" or is the focus more on being "so called" led to certain doctrinal beliefs in which we find many who have fallen into error as a result of their false impressions attributed to the Holy Spirit.
