Now you are resorting to name calling, which is uncalled for. Your attitude speaks for itself.
As for Lee Irons' article, it is his opinion based on the limited research he did on late 19th Century to late 20th Century Biblical and Historical theologians. I call your attention to Lee Irons' remarks and Gaffin's response at the end of the article. If anything, the article supports what I and others have said before me. If you want to educate yourself further, I recommend the work of scholars like Dr. Richard A. Muller whose four volume work, "Post-Reformation Reformed Dogmatics -The Rise and Development of Reformed Orthodoxy, ca. 1520 to ca. 1725" will give you a much more balanced and nuanced understanding than Irons' little article.
Perhaps being overly sensitive over how people deal with constructive differences of oppinion is a fault of mine. But it is still better than embracing ignorance in pride and haughtiness.
