Bill I'll have to throw in my encouragement here as I am a reluctantly reformed Baptist. Having been taught all my life that I was the one who did the chosing it is difficult to imagine the "when" of it. I am content, however, with the "how" right now, knowing that salvation isn't based in some decision I have made but on the action of God who has:

"...blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved."
Ephesians 1:3-6 (NASB)

There are so many who have been taught differently and are choking on it now. Was I saved? Was MY decision real this time? Maybe I need a steeper aisle to walk.... Keep up your studies in spite of these things. It's well worth any effort to know the truth.
