Thank you for all the brothers who have responded regarding this festival of the "Christ-mass" so much appreciated. I have the book by Ralph Woodrow called "Babylon Mystery Religion, ancient and modern, which is much clearer than the Two babylons. I suppose we can go on and on.
Rose,

I do not think it is necessary to go "on and on" since you are quite comfortable with your view of things and others theirs. The one thing which is not up for debate is the command from the Lord which the apostle Paul wrote; the weaker brethren are not to judge the stronger and the stronger are not to put a stumbling block before the weaker.

Secondly, you mentioned that you have the book, Babylon Mystery Religion which you said you found much clearer than Two Babylons. But did you read Ralph Woodrow's repudiation of not only that book but his own as well, Babylon Mystery Religion, which Boanerges linked to here: Two Babylons, a book review? Mr. Woodrow exposes the fallacy of Hislop's book and thus his own which was heavily dependent upon Hislop's book. [Linked Image]

And lastly, I do hope you will not continue to vilify that which God has pronounced "good", e.g., a tree. For like the apostle Paul, I am convinced that nothing is unclean of itself . . . which God has deemed good in His own eyes. smile
In His grace,
