The gist is that the British peoples (and their descendants) are the ten lost tribes of Israel, and are therefore God's chosen people. Much of the time it emphasizes that these peoples are responsible to keep the entirety of the Mosaic law (with some modification), and Christ's substitutionary atonement is usually minimized.
