William touched upon the very first reason that her "ministry" ought to be rejected. Paul alludes to this when he says that women ought to be silent in the church, but makes it even more apparent when he says, "I do not permit a woman to have authority over a man."

Of course this doesn't mean you can't have a female supervisor at work, it means that women are not endowed by God with spiritual authority. All of this gender mixing we see today is abominable, for God made us male and female with distinct roles. I always thought it was funny that Joyce Meyer feigned submission to her husband in accordance with Scripture and yet her entire ministry runs afoul of Scripture. The role of a woman is in no way inferior to the role of a man...but it is different and not to be confused with a man's.
