As many are aware Arminian theologians present Ephesians 1:4 “Accordingly as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.” believe that the predestination in this verse is centered on the act of choice before the foundations of the world, rather than on individuals themselves.

We can start with the fact that it is an inept interpretation of the English to read it this way, nevermind the Greek. "He hath chosen US in Him." "Us" is the object of "He hath chosen." "Us" refers to people, not a plan or a "lifestyle." The idea is that the purpose of His choice of us is for us to be holy and blameless.

Eph. 1:4 "who has blessed us"
Eph. 1:5 "he predestined us"
Eph. 1:6 "he has blessed us"
Eph. 1:7 "we have..."
"...redemption through his blood"
"...the forgiveness of our sins"
Eph. 1:8 "he lavished upon us"
Eph. 1:9 "making known to us"
Eph. 1:11 "we have obtained an inheritance"
