Pilgram, a question if I may? I got into a long discussion with a Catholic once about omnibenevolence and he absolutely refused the arguement that God created evil. I even posted the Isaiah verse you used and Deuteronomy 30:15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil. He continued to deny my interpretation and said that God is just allowing evil to exist, He did not create it. Is that a Catholic viewpoint or perhaps just his? I am hoping you know more about Catholicism than me? He had some very convoluted philosophical explanation about how evil came to be without implicating God and I mostly shook my head trying to understand his explanation. Maybe that's how they always answer the hard questions? (giggle)
