My family and catechism classes shudder whenever I start talking about a new term, because they know I am about to spend the next 10 minutes defining it. My reasons for not "pre-defining" the terms here were 1) I myself wanted to learn a great deal more about them, and 2) I hoped to do so in the context of a particular application.
