I'm absolutely still 'never Trump'. There is no question in my mind that he is the Republican nominee that we deserve and the nominee that God intended (or he wouldn't be the nominee). However, even though it is clear that this is God's will for this country at this time, my citizenship is in heaven and my Christian faith and my conscience can not allow me to cast a vote for him.

In times of judgment and bondage, the Israelites were called to remain separate and to remember the LORD their God (think Daniel) and though kings and kingdoms rose and fell around the exiles, God did not forget them, even though he brought judgment upon those kingdoms. He brought them out and returned them to their land.

To me, the sort of reasoning in the article says, "I can see where God is going with this so I'll help Him along by joining in."

Never Trump for me, even though it may very well be God's will to raise him up at this time.
